About Us.
THE MINISTRY WAS FOUNDED BY REV. CHARLES ANDREW SHAW OF ABOUKIR - ST. ANN, JAMAICA. HE SERVED IN THE SALVATION ARMY. THIS SERVICE LED HIM TO THE COUNTRY OF BELIZE. THERE HE MET MS. HORTENCE PARKS WHO WAS A MEMBER OF THE LOCAL SALVATION ARMY. MS. PARKS LATER BECAME HIS WIFE AND SERVED ALONG SIDE HIM IN MINISTRY TO BELIZE FOR OVER 60 YEARS.
Our Vision
To be a continuous active influence in our communities and country, responding to the social and spiritual needs of families, youth and the elderly ; leading them into a relationship with Jesus.
Our Mission
Zion Outreach Ministry is committed to being a caring evangelistic church, a praying people, united in worship and praise, focused on glorifying God and promoting the development of the whole man: spirit, soul and body through the various ministries of the church and to impact the community for God’s glory.
